Go on a Blind Date with a Book!
To celebrate Valentine's Day, come into the libary and have a blind date with a book. Choose from our selection of wrapped books to borrow. You won't know what you checked out until you get home! This is a great opportunity to try reading something you might not normally pick out for yourself. And if you enjoy the book, you can review it using the review slip inside. We'll post your review on the Long Hill Reads website. (If you don't like the book, no problem - just stop reading it and return it to us. The book's feelings will not be hurt.)

Movie Mondays in February!
Our theme for February is "Good book, great movie"
Each Monday night in February, come to the library at 7:00 to view a great movie
that is based on a book. Join us February 8 for "Field of Dreams," Feb. 15 for "The Painted Veil" and Feb. 22 for "To Kill A Mockingbird."

Read it Now!
We are introducing a new service for library patrons who love to read the latest and greatest bestsellers. Our "Read it Now" books are duplicate copies of popular bestsellers that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To help underwrite the cost of this new service, we charge $1.00 to rent the book, plus an additional 15 cents per day charge. So the faster you read the book, the less you will pay! We hope you will enjoy this new service. Of course, if you don't want to pay to rent a library book we are happy to put our non-rental copy on hold for you; it will just take a little longer to get to you.
