Become a Library Champion!
Long Hill Township Library invites you to become a Library Champion. Library champions love the library, feel strongly that the library is an important part of the community, and want to be in the know about issues that affect the library. Library champions receive email updates about library issues on a quarterly basis, as well as email alerts when issues arise that affect the library. To become a library champion, you can stop by the library and fill out a Library Champion form, download it, or just send email to director@longhilllibrary.org with your name, email address, street address and "Library Champion" in the subject line. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Teens and adults, our Summer Reading Raffle runs from now through August 30th.
Stop by the front desk and fill out a raffle ticket for every item you read or listen to, and get a chance to win free books!

Teen Movie Afternoon - Inkheart
Teens (grade 5 and up), come for a cool afternoon of munchies and a movie on Friday, July 24th at 2:30 pm.
We'll show Inkheart, the movie based on the popular series by Cornelia Funke. Call 908-647-2088 or stop by the front desk to sign up!

Mommy & Me Yoga - Mondays at 11:30: July 6th, July 20, August 3, August 17
Parents, bring your young children (age 2 1/2 through 5) and join Stephanie Tormey from Heart & Soul Yoga in this
fun, relaxing gentle stretching program. Sign up at the children's desk or call 908-647-2088 ext. 2

Drop-in Pajama Storytime (ages 4 - 8)
Tuesday, July 21st at 7 pm. Join Miss Meredith for some soothing bedtime stories!

Summer Reading Lists for Central Middle School and WHRHS
Summer reading lists and books are available for 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade and
WHRHS (grades 9 through 12), as well as the optional WHRHS Excel Summer Reading Program.

Knit One, Purl Some
Join the Gates Avenue Knitters at 7 pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month for
knitting (or crocheting), conversation and laughter. Bring your own knitting - we'll supply
the conversation and fun.

Book Donations
We appreciate your donated books! We will gratefully accept gently used books and magazines (please, no damaged books, textbooks, old medical books or encyclopedias, and only magazines published within the last year). Please drop your donation off at the circulation desk during library hours. We have limited space to store donated items, so we request that you bring no more than three bags of donations at a time.
Upon request we will be happy to provide a receipt for your donation (but we are not permitted to place a dollar value on it). Thank you very much!

Check out our Music CD Collection
We now have compact discs in a wide variety of genres, available for two-week loan. Stop by and browse!
Our collection will change every three months. Happy listening!

Long Hill Residents Gain Borrowing Power with MUF
The Library has joined the Morris Union Federation (MUF).
All residents of Long Hill Township can borrow materials from four new libraries:
Berkeley Heights, New Providence, Bernardsville and Summit.
(Residents can also continue to borrow from any of the 37 libraries participating in MAIN.)
Just present your Long Hill Library card at any of these libraries and check on out!
